At the Blackhawks we try to offer a full American Football experience at an affordable rate and as a team a focus has been put on making sure what we offer goes above and beyond.
Coaching
Our coaching staff are all experienced and qualified, the team helps to ensure that the service offered by our coaching staff is top notch by covering the cost of all qualifications needed to meet our high standards.
Facilities
The Blackhawks have our own facilities based at Beltane Park in Wishaw, our facilities include a changing room with adequate parking, hot showers and toilets, film room, equipment storage and physio/first aid room.
We also use this facility to do whiteboard and playbook sessions using our projector and screen along with large whiteboards.
The playing field is grass and has specialist American Football goals, one of the few facilities in Scotland that offer this.
We are well run
Our excellent team of volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that all you need to do is turn up to training and games on time and everything will be there for you to enjoy the sport.
We hold an annual general meeting where any member can attend and contribute to the club along with gaining an understanding of the clubs goals and finances.
We have a representative available for any member to contact to express any concerns they may have or if they wish to bring anything to the attention of the Blackhawks committee.
Equipment
We understand that the equipment needed for American Football can be expensive. For his reason the team offer for all new players to use team kit for the first three months free of charge. Following which members can continue to rent the equipment from us for £5 per item until we can help you to source your own equipment.
